Passing Out Tracts at the Fair

Hi all. Tonight my wife and I, along with my daughter, went to the Christian County Fair (love the name of the county!). We passed out the gospel tracts of the one million dollar bills and the giant money $100 bills (I placed the link just to show you which tracts I am talking about. I do not make money from this! :-) We may have passed out 100-150 of them.
We didn't get a chance to do any one 2 one witnessing, although we mentioned to some that there is a gospel message on the back side. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict the hearts of the people who read them. They love getting these two tracts. They almost give themselves away. You will see people standing around reading them.
When we left we went to McDonald's to get something to drink. I asked the question, "Can you break a large bill?" and handed her the giant $100. They all loved it. We passed out the million dollar bills and giant money to about 5 or 6 employees behind the counter. We let them know they were gospel tracts. They were reading them when we left.
May the Holy Spirit show you how important it is to share your faith in Jesus with others throughout your day. You are unique, and you come into contact with people throughout your day that no one else does. God placed you there for a purpose.

Teaching Evangelism at a Local Church

My wife and I met with our pastor tonight after church. He is interested in us teaching the Way of the Master Foundation Course at our church. We attend church at Tri Lakes Center Church in Branson, Missouri (the old Mel Tillis theater).

The plan is to begin the classes on Wednesday night, August 10, 2005. The congregation will sing praise and worship songs, then watch the 28 minute dvd, then we will split off into two groups. My wife, Leann, and I will each teach a class. This foundation course will last for 8 weeks. If you are in the Branson area, you are invited to attend. Church and classes will begin at 6:00pm Wednesday evenings beginning August 10, 2005.

We praise God for this. Pray that God will speak to people and let them know how important it is as a Christian that we witness to those we come in contact with, be it our friends and family or going out to street witness to strangers.
